Privacy and Security Overview

  • OnePassport is accredited to work with the Australian Government, Queensland Government and large corporations such as PwC. These organisations have stringent Data Security and Data Privacy requirements in order to work with them
  • OnePassport actively manages it online security and physical security as it works in a space call PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
  • OnePassport is in the process of becoming ISO 27001 (Information Security Management Systems) certified. ISO 27001 certification is not mandatory, nor even common in Australia, but it is the gold standard in this area of compliance and so OnePassport sees it as necessary

Data Security

  • OnePassport is securely encrypted
  • Data is held in world-class cloud servers servers managed by Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • The servers are located in Australia

Data Privacy

  • OnePassport meets the standards of the Australian Privacy Act
  • The data held in a OnePassport Profile belongs to the person and cannot be accessed by anyone else UNLESS that person chooses to share their Profile with an organisation (eg an employer)
  • The person can see each connection they have to third parties and can disconnect from them at anytime
